TaxLoonie is free and currently earns nothing. There are no ads, no partner links and no sponsored content on the site.
In future
To pay for running and checking the site, we may add one or both of the following. We will update this page before either goes live.
- Advertising. Ads served by an ad network, always labelled “Advertisement” and kept visually separate from calculator results. Where ads use cookies, we will ask for your permission first.
- Partner links. Links to products such as tax software or bank accounts, where the company may pay us if you sign up or buy. You never pay more because you used our link.
Our rules
- Results are never for sale. No partner or advertiser can change, sponsor or review how our calculators work or what they show.
- Every partner link is labelled. A short note right beside the link says we may be paid, before you click, not just at the bottom of the page.
- No paid rankings. We don’t accept payment to rank or recommend one product over another. If we compare products, we say how we chose them.
- Some pages stay offer-free. Our newcomer and government benefit pages will never carry partner offers.
- No investment picks. We don’t recommend individual stocks, funds or cryptocurrencies.
- Mortgages and loans. We are not a mortgage broker or lender. If we ever link to a mortgage provider, we will only refer you, will share nothing about you except what you choose to enter on their site, and will tell you in writing beside the link that we may receive a referral fee and what our relationship is.
- Your amounts stay private. Calculator inputs are never sent to advertisers or partners. See our privacy policy.
